Nomadix Towel Review Basics
Before we get too into this Nomadix Towel Review, let’s go over the basics. The Nomadix Towel is a super absorbent, quick drying, compact, sand resistant towel. Did you get all of that? This towel is thin and compact, which you would think it would work well when it comes to drying you off. But it is actually super absorbent; yet after absorbing the water it dries extremely quickly. And remember it’s also sand resistant too.

One of my absolute favorite type of campsite is the site you can only get to by water. When we camp at one these types of campsites (campsites only accessible by water), we need to pack EVERYTHING we need on our two paddleboards and paddle to the site.
As you can imagine, we must pack extremely light and efficiently and be conscientious of our space. This Nomadic Towel is a must for this type of trip!
Super Absorbant and Compact
The Nomadic folds up and fits in a small thin bag. When I bought the Nomadic towel, I thought it probably will do, but surely it won’t do a a very good job at absorbing water. I mean, how could this thin little piece of fabric work well at drying our bodies or anything else we need to dry off? But I decided to purchase it because it was small and would fit on the paddle board nicely, and a traditional towel would be too bulky. It was better than nothing, I thought.
Quick Drying
Let me tell you, the first time I used it, I couldn’t believe how quickly I was able to dry off using the Nomadic Towel! Then, I was even more amazed at how quickly the towel dried off!
Here is how quickly it dried. I took a shower, and dried off with the Nomadic towel. Then, I laid out the towel while I did my makeup. By the time I was done with my makeup, the Nomadix Towel was dry! I was able to fold the towel up and put it right into its carrying bag in just a few minutes.
I love the Nomadix Towel so much that I take it on all my camping trips and even my day paddleboarding trips.
When I get up in the morning, the last thing I want to do is fill around in the dark for my makeup bag AND my towel. It packs up so small that it fits in my makeup bag with all my other toiletries! So when I go to get ready all I have to do it find one bag and head to the bathroom to get ready in the morning.
Btw, I have found the perfect solution to “the filling around in the dark tent” problem. My solution is to sleep in the soft and comfy LED light beanie. I got mine at the Shoppes at RiversEdge. If you are a Rock Hill, SC local, go check them out.
Other Users for the Nomadix Towel
We mostly use this towel as well a towel, but we also use the Nomadix towel in other ways. A few ways we like to use this towel are:
- Shower towel (dries our body quickly and then it dries quickly)
- Beach towel (This towel is not only super absorbent and fast drying, it is also sand resistant!)
- Picnic blanket (We love to find an island and have a picnic when we are paddle boarding. This compact towel is perfect for a quick picnic on an island.)
- Concert Blanket (Our town host a huge festival every spring called “Come See Me.” This festivals hosts free concerts in a beautiful garden throughout the week. This towel is a perfect compact blanket to take to these concerts).
